DEVOS Intelligently Maintains Stream Continuity

DiscoverVideo today announced the addition of an Intelligent Stream Recorder to DEVOS.
Intelligent Stream Recorder allows a live stream to continue and record to DEVOS even when a source is not available, making DEVOS an even more reliable streaming platform.
Without the Intelligent Stream Recorder, recording would stop if a stream is interrupted, due to a temporary network failure, bandwidth congestion, live encoder failure, or other issue.
The Intelligent Stream Recorder overcomes any interruptions by intelligently inserting a “standby” image during times of such loss. This insertion preserves the actual recording duration and the synchronization of audio and video.
