The Video Publisher allows you to easily and instantly record
and/or publish your town council or similar meeting or event. Viewers don't want to sit through a 2-hour online recorded video
of a meeting just to find out what happened about a particular
agenda issue. They can easily become frustrated trying to move
a "slider bar" to find what they are looking for. The Meeting
Broadcaster provides a convenient "drop down" list that shows each
agenda item. The viewer need only select it and the video
instantly plays at that point.
Import your
agenda, and quickly
tag your video with
rapid navigation
marks that allow
your viewers to
click on an agenda
item to view the
video at that point.
Import an existing video, or record new using the Video
Publisher. Publish your live or recorded video event with an
associated document, or all by itself.
Built-In Viewing Pages
The system provides two viewing page styles: with an agenda, or
without. If you include an agenda, the system uploads your PDF
document and displays it on a web page next to your video.
Without an agenda, the system displays your video-only, and still
provides navigation capabilities (see examples).
The system automatically lists your events
on your private "landing page", and lists all of your recorded
meetings in sequential order. Viewers need only go to your
private landing page (you provide a link on your web site) to view
any live or recorded meeting.
Live or Archive
You can tag your
live meeting in real
time, or you can tag
your video later.
Tagging in real time
is easy: just click
on the current
agenda item as the
meeting progresses.
Tagging a recording
is also easy: watch
the recording and
fast-forward,
rewind, or slide to
the desired position
and either click on
an agenda item or
type it in.After your video
is tagged, upload it
and your video is
instantly available
for on-demand
viewing.
Live Streaming
The Video
Publisher works with
DVME, a VBrick WM
Appliance, or
virtually any
standard WM encoder
source.
Viewer Compatibility
Viewing pages use
Silverlight for wide
browser
compatibility or can
be viewed with
Windows Media Player
